How women are empowering business and start-ups

Let’s be honest to each other and agree that we all thought of ourselves more in this Stuck-at-home situation. We dusted our memories and brought out the wanna-be list. It could be the free time we got or financial requirements at this difficult time. The moment of, “You should start the business of this” started to come into the light. Creating something new, standing on our own feet became mainstream because not enough jobs. Long story short, everyone had their reasons to start small and go big. Especially women, who brought their business side to shade, started shining and empowering the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME).

The start-ups are taking a rising path in India and women are sharing their part thoroughly. And the pandemic gave them more opportunities to establish their business or start-up. Well opportunities like the closed shop of cakes. It gave their inbuilt cooking talent wide exposure and for customers, it was sheer delight. The customized cake along with taste at a reasonable price which can come to the doorstep of customers. Seems nice and easy, right?  The gap of need is filled with not only varieties of cake but also better service. This understanding of needs and making it more effective with women's touch helped to grow more.

Innovation is a major part of any industry. Providing something new to the consumer always helps to be ahead in the business. Women are very much involved in the innovative part of day-to-day life. And this small instinct gave women a big chance to start their own business. For instance, giving a healthy touch to food that is meant to be unhealthy. Women find different ways to make a substitute to provide their family healthy lifestyle. For some women, this innovation became the callout for starting a business. Ability converted into a source of income, the perfect combination to have for any business.

Women are proving themselves in these challenging times. They are improving and keeping their eyes open to grab the chance in this changing world. The home/handmade product demand started to grow. They upskilled themselves to create mass products. Also to stay ahead they started to learn different things to reach out to more consumers effectively. For that, giving products a nice packaging or printing a nice ‘Thank You’ note took place. Well, marketing along with the good presentation of their hard work added as learning and became the advantage later.

Gone are the days when women were told to do only household work. We are surrounded by talented women who should explore the world of business and start-ups. The pandemic has become the main reason for getting started. It has provoked their inner ability to start their own business and leading it properly. This obviously seems a better future for wannaprenuers and for Indian women to leave their mark worldwide.
